Are You Living Life 15 Minutes at a Time?

Today I stopped in Lowes to pick up some top soil and other things for my yard project (my source of relaxing these days). Anyway, while I was checking out, I heard the head cashier discussing with the other cashiers about taking their 15 minute breaks. Statements like “Hurry up because I need to take my 15 minute break”, “She’s been gone longer than 15 minutes”, and “Hurry back after your break” went back and forth. I couldn’t help to think to myself how blessed I am to have a profession such as photography that is helping create the freedom I need to spend more time with my family, friends and just free time to create. Isn’t that what life is about? There is NOTHING wrong with having a job where there are rules and regs established for 15 minute breaks, 30 minute lunches etc, but I just think that we should all strive to create the freedom we need to enjoy our life to the fullest.
