If you know anyone that is a professional photographer OR even a prosumer, you know that there is a friendly rivalry between Nikon and Canon…somewhat like the Redskins/Cowboys without the overpaid over-the-hill athletes or the cornerbacks and club shootings…LOL. Anyway, yesterday I came across this photo on Flickr taken by Pete Souza. I looked at the type of camera that he was holding…it’s a Canon. The first thing I said was booooooooooo, then I thought with the Economy and the wars overseas, I can’t expect him to know any better :).
The real story behind the photo (as mentioned on Flickr) was that on his way out to a speech on the Economy, he grabbed one of the camera’s nearby just to look through it.
And if you are wondering, YES I emailed Rahm Emanuel to see if the Prez was available to second shoot for me at my next wedding. Still waiting on that reply!
