For the Feet of the Wedding Photographer

The last thing that I thought I would post to my blog would be something about shoes. BUT after coming from a wedding and having my feet sizzle by the end of the night and then finding a pair of shoes two days later that would get rid of the sizzlicious sensation I had to talk about it. I purchased a pair of Nike Waffle Racer III’s. I thought I made a mistake because I purchaed them like 3 hours before a wedding I had to shoot and then took a chance and got a size smaller than I typically get because…hey, it “felt good in the store”. Needless to say, a gig where you are standing 8+ hours is the wrong place to break in a new pair of shoes. So for the record let’s scratch my thoughts on that night. But NOW let’s just say the break-in period is over and these are probably one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I have purchased. I know there are times when we will put on the more dressier shoe for the occasion, but if you can get this shoe to even semi-coordinate with your traditional black shirt and black pants then it’s the way to go.
